Stevens Garage
Description
Stevens Garage was located in Delta Mills and owned by Eskie Stevens along with his son Arlin. Eskie's wife Hildegarde also helped in the shop for several years.
Eskie and Arlin both served as volunteer firefighters. During the construction of the modern steel and concrete bridge across the Grand River, the Delta Township Fire Department stationed a fire engine at the Stevens Garage for better access to areas north of Grand River.
